Teaching
Over the past years he has published standard textbooks on Pediatric Surgery and was one of the first authors to use multimedia technology in Pediatric surgical training. Some CDs and DVDs were published with an interactive character.
The 1st edition „Pediatric Surgery Digest“, was translated into Chinese and Greek.

The dissemination of knowledge to the next generation of
physicians is always Prof. Zacharious’ concern.
He is a member of the
faculty of the laparoscopy course offered during the annual EUPSA Congress for
the last 10 years and deliver courses and lectures in different areas of
Pediatric Surgery during national and international congresses.
He has
attended over 250 Congresses and was chairman in 121 scientific
sessions.
